Recently Baker Hughes and Microsoft partnered with other organisations such as Shell, C3 AI announced the launch of the Open AI Energy Initiative (OAI), an open ecosystem of artificial intelligence-based solutions for the energy and process industries, the very first of its kind.

The Open AI Energy Initiative goal is to provide a structure driven by BHC3 AI Suite and Microsoft Azure for energy operators and providers in order to suggest compatible solution with Artificial Intelligence and physics-based models, monitoring, diagnostics, prescriptive actions, and services.
